Američka akademija filmskih umjetnosti i znanosti objavila je nominacije za 87. dodjelu Oscara. Najviše nominacija, njih devet, odnijeli su filmovi "Birdman" i "The Grand Budapest Hotel", osam nominacija dobio je film "The Imitation Game", šest "Boyhood" i "American Sniper", a po pet nominacija imaju "Whiplash", "Interstellar" i "Foxcatcher". Najveće razočaranje je film "Selma", dramatična priča o Martinu Lutheru Kingu, koji je, unatoč velikim očekivanjima, nominiran u samo dvije kategorije.
Ovogodišnje nominacije za Oscara predstavili su glumac Chris Pine, predsjednica Akademije Cheryl Boone Isaacs i redatelji Alfonso Cuarón i J.J. Abrams. 87. dodjela nagrada Oscar održat će se 22. veljače 2015, a vodit će je glumac Neil Patrick Harris.
