Europske zemlje, potaknute ratom u Ukrajini, drastično su promijenile svoj pristup sektoru obrane. Međunarodni institut za istraživanje mira u Stockholmu tako je objavio i koliko su koje zemlje ulagale, odnosno ne ulagale u svoje obrambene sposobnosti protekle četiri godine, i to kroz uvoz oružja. 

Očekivano, a s obzirom na manje razvijenu industriju proizvodnje oružja, Ukrajina se najviše naoružavala inozemnim oružjem u odnosu na prošlo četverogodišnje razdoblje, od 2014. do 2018. Njihov uvoz tako se povećao za čak 6.633 posto, pokazala je to infografika Pixsella. Prva zemlja nakon njih zapravo je jedna neočekivana, a ona je uvozila gotovo upola manje. Radi se o susjednoj Sloveniji, koja je u protekle četiri godine uvozila čak 3300 posto više u svoje naoružavanje.

Uz Ukrajinu i Sloveniju, i Češka je u četveroznamenkastom postotku uvećala ulaganja u svoje naoružanje – 3.125%. Četvrta na popisu po naoružavanju kroz uvoz bila je Bugarska s uvećanjem od 920 posto. Iako se na karti nalazi bliže Ukrajini od Bugarske, Rumunjska je uložila 180 posto više u naoružanje koje je uvezla.

Države koje su još imale znatna ulaganja u naoružanje su i Kosovo (833%), Nizozemska (751%), Mađarska (747%) te Litva (489%). Dok za BiH podataka o naoružavanju nema, razvidno je iz infografike da su gotovo sve zemlje u susjedstvu uvozile više oružja u protekle četiri godine. Srbija je uvozila tako 584 posto više, dok se Hrvatska na naoružavanje koje je uvezla fokusirala 67 posto više.

Vodeće sile u Europi u različitim su postocima povećale svoj uvoz. Njemačka je tako doživjela povećanje uvoza oružja za 188 posto, a Francuska 112 posto. Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo povećalo je uvoz oružja 41 posto.

POVEZANI ČLANCI:

Postoje i zemlje koje su smanjile svoje naoružanje u protekle četiri godine u odnosu na prethodno četverogodišnje razdoblje. Dok se Ukrajina naoružavala, Rusija je prema službenim podacima smanjila svoja ulaganja u uvoz oružja za 54 posto. Najveći pad od 70 posto ima pak Finska, a ni Estonija također kao susjedna zemlja Rusije nije povećala svoja ulaganja. Uz njih naoružavanje je smanjeno i u Italiji (37 posto), Crnoj Gori (56 posto) te Albaniji (68 posto), dok pad od pet, odnosno četiri posto imaju Irska i Grčka.
