Uhićena su dva Rumunja koja se sumnjiče da su na području Splitsko-dalmatinske i Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije tijekom srpnja provalili u 31 stan, ostvarivši protupravnu imovinsku korist od 99 tisuća eura, izvijestila je u petak Policijska uprava dubrovačko-neretvanska.

Kriminalističkim istraživanjem utvrđena je sumnja da su 56-godišnjak i 41-godišnjak provalili u 11 stanova na području Splita, 12 na području Dubrovnika, dva na području Opuzena i jedan na području Ploča, potom dva na području Makarske, dva na području Omiša, jedan na području Ploča i jedan stan na području Baške Vode.

„Utvrđeno je postojanje osnovane sumnje da su korištenjem odgovarajućeg alata lomili uložak cilindrične brave nakon čega bi korištenjem alata otključali bravu i ušli u stan, odnosno nasilno su provaljivali ulazna vrata, nakon čega bi ušli u stan i ukrali bi novac, zlato, vrijedan nakit, satove, novčanike, dokumente”, naveli su iz policije.

Tako su, kažu iz policije, Rumunji ostvarili obilježja 27 kaznenih dijela protiv imovine, od čega 20 teških krađa te sedam teških krađa u pokušaju, kada iz stanova u koje su provalili nisu ništa otuđili.

"Početkom srpnja na području Splita zabilježeno je devet provala u stanove, a nekoliko dana nakon toga i sedam provala na području Dubrovnika. Potom su počinitelji napustili područje Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije, ali je rekonstrukcijom njihovog kretanja utvrđeno da su se u srijedu 24. srpnja ponovno vratili te počinili četiri nova kaznena djela. Iniciranim kriminalističkim istraživanjem utvrđeno je da bi se moglo raditi o istim počiniteljima nakon čega se dodatno intenzivira suradnja policijskih uprava u cilju lociranja i pronalaska počinitelja”, objasnili su iz policije.

Dubrovačka policija identificirala je vozilo s kojim su se počinitelji kretali i koje je napustilo područje Dubrovačko-neretvanske županije u smjeru Splita, o čemu su obavijestili splitske kolege koji su intenzivnim operativnim radom na terenu, uz potporu policijskih službenika kriminalističko-obavještajne analitike, vozilo pratili i utvrdili da su osobe stacionirane na području Makarske.

„Zajedničkim radom na terenu policijskih službenika Službe općeg kriminaliteta PU splitsko-dalmatinske, PP Omiš i PP Makarska u srijedu su pronađeni, uhićeni i dovedeni u službene prostorije PP Makarska radi provođenja istraživanja. U sklopu kriminalističkog istraživanja obavljena je pretraga stana i vozila kojeg su koristili. Pronađen je novac, dio ukradenog zlata koje bilo skriveno u čarapama, kao i provalnički alat. Nakon dovršenog istraživanja uz kaznenu prijavu predani su pritvorskom nadzorniku”, stoji u priopćenju Policijske uprave dubrovačko-neretvanske.
