U Los Angelesu su proglašene nominacije za Zlatne globuse, nagradu koju dodjeljuju strani novinari u Hollywoodu. U filmskim kategorijama nema iznenađenja, bitka će se očekivano voditi između redateljskih velikana Stevena Spielberga, Baza Luhrmanna i Jamesa Camerona. Njihovi filmovi "Fabelmanovi", "Elvis" i "Avatar: The Way Of Water" nominirani su za najbolju dramu, a oni će se boriti i u kategoriji najboljeg redatelja. Za najbolju dramu natječu se još i filmovi "Tár" i "Top Gun:Maverick", dok će se za najbolji mjuzikl ili komediju boriti filmovi: "Babylon", "The Banshees of Inisherin", "Everything Everywhere All at Once", "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery" i "Trokut tuge", za ulogu u kojem je naš Zlatko Burić nagrađen europskim Oscarom. Austin Butler nominiran je za ulogu Elvisa u kategoriji najbolji glumac u drami, a najveća konkurencija bit će mu Brendan Fraser za ulogu u filmu "The Whale". Zvijezda "Fabelmanovih" Michelle Williams predvodi nominirane glumice u drami, a konkurentice su joj, izmeđ ostalih, Cate Blanchett ("Tár") i Olivia Colman ("Empire of Light"). U konkurenciji dramskih serija nominacije su zaslužile "Better Call Saul", "Kruna", "Kuća zmajeva", "Ozark" i "Severance", dok su najbolje komedije "Abbott Elementary", "The Bear", "Hacks", "Only Murders in the Building" i "Wednesday". Nominacije su vodili Mayan Lopez i Selenis Leyva iz NBC-jeve serije "Lopez VS Lopez", a proglasili su ih u ukupno 27 kategorija. Dodjela Zlatnih globusa održat će se 10. siječnja 2023.
