Američka akademija filmskih znanosti i umjetnosti objavila je nominacije za 88. dodjelu Oscara. Nominacije su objavili proslavljeni redatelji Guillermo del Toro i Ang Lee te glumac John Krasinski i predsjednica Akademije Cheryl Boone Isaacs.
88. dodjela Oscara održat će se u nedjelju, 28. veljače 2016. godine u Dolby Theatre u Hollywoodu, a dodjelu će voditi glumac Chris Rock.
Čak 12 nominacija osvojio je film Povratnik (The Revenant), dok je 10 nominacija dobio Mad Max: Fury Road.
Po osam nominacija dobili su "Carol", "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", "The Hateful Eight", "Inside Out" i "Straight Outta Compton".
